Desktop Repair

At Wickford Computer we pride ourselves on being honest experts. We can fix any desktop computer, in store or on site. Bring your PC in for free diagnostics anytime during normal store hours (11am to 6pm M-F, 12 to 3pm on Saturdays). It’s amazing what a simple reinstallation of windows or a tuneup can do for an old computer… even if it was purchased in 2001 or 2002, as long as it came with Windows XP or later, and doesn’t have too many hardware issues we can fix it up good as new (sometimes even better!)

Diagnostic

We’ll check your computer’s hardware and software to see what’s causing the problem, and give you a custom quote to fix it. In-store diagnostics are free (except if it’s a laptop and we have to take it apart to determine the problem).

Tuneup

Our basic virus removal and performance enhancement service. Gets your slow computer running fast again without making changes to your windows programs and settings.

$75 in-store
$125 in-store (with pickup/dropoff service)


Reload

More advanced virus removal and performance enhancement service. Fixes any problems with the operating system and in most cases, restores the computer to like-new status. Wipes the hard drive so data must be backed up and restored during the process.

$85 in-store (no data)
